The Role
As Senior UAV Robotics Engineer you will take a key role in the company's development. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done" spirit. To be successful, you will have solid problem-solving skills. This position is both challenging and broad and regards software and electronics development. You will be encouraged to take initiative from day one and work on challenging and stimulating projects. What you will do
- Design, implementation, debugging, testing and verification of electronics & software
- Troubleshooting of problems detected during test flights and operations
- Analyze flight and laboratory data to ensure system requirements are satisfied
- Ensure that all technical work is developed to meet safety and security standards
What you bring
- Experience with developing, reviewing & testing / debugging software for microcontrollers in C/C++
- Experience with PCB design, soldering and debugging
- Ability to use laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscope, multimeter, protocol analyzer)
- Knowledge of communication buses of embedded electronic systems (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN)
- English minimum at B2 level
- Work permit for Italy
- The will to learn and teach throughout and for the benefit of your team
Nice to have
- Experience with drones and/or robots
- Experience in writing software for safety critical systems
- Knowledge of control theory
- Experience with embedded real-time operating systems
- Experience with UI programming
