The Challenge
Great stories have a challenge. Whether it's personal or involves a community, a challenge is what make us take action toward a goal. In our case the challenge that started the story of FlyingBasket in 2015 is about the available aviation solutions that are not accessible for many businesses, increase the risks for personnel and are difficult to deploy. We believe in the power of innovation and the way it changes our normality, so we started a team of like-minded people to pursue a new alternative to methods of transportation and lift of goods (helicopters, cranes, etc.). Our goal is to provide the same benefits but at a fraction of the cost, in a sustainable (emission-free) and user-friendly way. Each day we work with partners and clients to bring dedicated and efficient drone solutions that are changing the way industries operate.

Our Story
FlyingBasket was founded in 2015 by Moritz and Matthias Moroder.
While they were hiking in the Dolomites and noticed a helicopter delivering food to a mountain shelter, the idea of replacing a helicopter with a drone to make these services more sustainable, efficient and cost-effective started to take shape. In the following years drone prototypes were designed, developed and tested in a mountainous area where weather conditions can be extremely challenging and the first use case have been tested. When the FB3 drone became reality, it didn't only solve the initial purpose for which it was conceived, but developed into what today is the benchmark in its category for cargo drones.
In 2020 FlyingBasket was the first commercial cargo drone operational.
Today it's the most experienced operator for cargo drone applications.
Overtime, not only did our drones evolve but so did our team. Today the FlyingBasket team consists of an international mix of highly skilled, motivated and creative minds.

What we do
FlyingBasket is a drone manufacturer and operator leader in the cargo drone industry in Europe.
